Acne Solutions Clear Skin System Starter Kit, $34 — So I might have cheated, and this might count as three products. But if you have problem skin and you’ve tried this system, you’ll forgive me. I’ve been struggling with my skin for
years. And I’d exhausted every product in my drugstore isle before I finally came across this three-step system. Unlike a lot of the products I was using, this system actually combines salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide to clear up your skin. SPF 45 Targeted Protection Stick, $19 — Anyone with a tattoo knows that you have to be extra careful in the sun as that skin is damaged. You might also know that your average bottle of SPF 45 Coppertone goes on like a waterproof wool sweater. This little stick is the perfect solution — no sticky, greasy sunblock here.

High Impact Mascara, $15 — Even on those mornings when you’re running out the door without having slept the night before or time to shower, I like to apply a quick coat of mascara to freshen things up. This mascara holds up all day (even through tears), and still comes off easily with soap and water.
